Entry Requirements: While there are no specific entry requirements to enrol in this unit of competency, Training and Personnel Australia requires that learners are at least 16 years of age at time of enrolment and have 100 points of valid identification.
Overview: Face to face training and operations in our simulated work environment at Advanced's training premises. Our experienced and qualified trainers and assessors will ensure you have all the knowledge and practical based training required to plan and prepare pre-operational checks; operate an excavator including stripping and spreading topsoil and materials, cut and fill, batter, stockpile, bulk excavation, cut drains, bench and backfill; select, remove and fit attachments; relocate the excavator; carry out machine operator maintenance, and clean up. Further, we’ll ensure you have:
• The right training plan for you
• The right theoretical health and safety training required
• The right information and training for your knowledge based assessment
• The right and reliable practical training requirements to complete your logbook hours
• The right written and practical training for your practical based assessment
You will be equipped to operate safely on the worksite!
